About Simple Phone Guide

Simple Phone Guide is a small independent site published by Tækni Framtíðar ehf. and edited by Stefán Atli Rúnarsson. It helps people in the US and UK choose a simpler phone, for themselves or their children.

What we do, and what we don't

• We compile manufacturer, carrier and regulator information and link every source.
• We do not claim hands-on testing unless we have actually owned and used a device, and we will say so when we have.
• We do not publish user reviews, ratings or testimonials.
• We do not sell phones.
• We do not use manufacturers' photos. Phone pictures are our own generic illustrations.

The site is new (launched 2026). Content is AI-assisted and human-reviewed. See the AI disclosure.
